Early in 2021 a visitor from Metung in Victoria was amazed at the spectacle of the Gundaroo main street lined by colourful ‘Climate Action Now’ signs attached to front fences and gates by many residents and businesses.  Would such a display work in Metung?  The answer lay in coming up with a sign that is in harmony with the environment and community of Metung itself.  The new design, with the Australian coastline as its theme and declaring ‘The future is in our hands – We must act now’, has since been crafted in Metung and made into signs by CANsign.   The signs are already appearing in and around Metung, and some have made their way to Sydney and Queensland.
